Hey Everyone

So this week was pretty good. We got our transfer calls, so that is always a crappy day. They called us and told Elder Olguin that he is going to be a zone leader in Saskatoon and his companion is leaving too. Then they told Elder Romanovitch that he is getting a new companion up here so I was just like what.. am I leaving, then the assistants told me that I would be taking over Elder Olguins area as a zone leader with Elder Goodwin. It was like a punch to the face. I didn't want to be a zone leader but I knew it was coming. At least now I get a truck. I’ve been walking for the past 6 months haha. Plus I’m going to be super busy covering all my investigators here and on the Denare beach reserve and Creighton. I love being busy.

So this week we did some service, I put up this wire to melt the ice on a non members roof so that was fun. It was really cold. It’s already -15. It’s pretty cold. I totally fell down a whole flight of stairs at a less actives house this week. Like I literally fell down 20 stairs and slammed into a wall cause my feet were all wet. I played it off like nothing, then I got outside and was like owwww hahaha. It was funny. 

We had an exchange with our zone leaders last week and the one I went with was a little different haha. One of the guys we are working with messed with him so hard, it was really funny.

I’m really excited to be able to work really hard. I will have a lot more motivation and I’m really excited. I sure love you all

Elder Porter

We built a 9 foot snowman, and then I drove the truck through it, the kids thought it was so cool!!!

We had a zone training meeting this week and it was on Elder Glissmeyers birthday, so we baked a cake. We have to skype into the meetings as well as the Thompson Elders, so we got them to buy a cake, and during the meeting, we were just like "we have a special announcement to make, it is Elder Glissmeyers birthday" so we sang and busteed out the cake with the Thompson Elders and we started eating it, and everyone in Brandon is like, what the??? Then we were just like hey guys want some cake?? Yes real mature, I know, hahaha!!!!
