Hey Everyone,
This week was soo cold. 1 Farenheight. We went on an Elders quorum hike in Birds Hill Park and we hiked to a little shelter that had a furnace it it. We took hot dogs and donuts and had a good time. During the hike my eyelids froze together and I had ice forming all over my tongue and my snot was frozen in my nose. It was fun. Really good time. Unfortunately the Emers are unable to have a Thanksgiving dinner so whatever. It’s all good. At least we got the Canadian Thanksgiving a few weeks ago.
So with the windchill the other day it was like -8 farenheight and we decided to go tracting in it. My face was purple haha. We knocked on about 40 doors. On one of the last ones this guy answered and I started talking, but was so cold I couldn’t even talk! haha we had a good laugh together and then he slammed the door.
We helped Bro. Archembault move huge hay rolls yesterday evening, he would tie them to his truck and drag them around the field and we would jump on them and ride around on them. Elder Gardner jumped on one and tried to skate and totally fell off it on his butt in the snow, and these hay rolls are about 5 feet tall so it hurt pretty bad hahaa, it was so funny! Then we ate dinner with them.
We passed out christmas invites and visited former investigators and less actives a lot this week.
Pretty normal week. Thanks for all the support! Love you guys!
Elder Porter
